Student Book Recommendation: Philip K. Dick Short Stories

Philip K. Dick Short Stories

Philip K. Dick is one of the most prolific and influential sci-fi writers in history.  Each story is only about twenty pages, but you read three sentences and you’re hooked.  The first one I read was the Minority Report (made into a Tom Cruise Flick), which is about head investigator Anderton who leads the police force.  This police force deals with precrime, catching criminals before they commit terrible crimes.  There hasn’t been a murder in three years thanks to the the precogs, deformed humans, who catch the soon to be criminals.  Everything is going swimmingly, until Anderton’s name comes up.
